Full Service On-site Bike Shop

Hire PRKBikes for your next bike or multi-sport event: we are a full service on-site bike shop, with a large inventory of parts and a full range of tools.

We can do fixes as small as adjusting a derailleur and as large as replacing a broken fork, pressing in a headset or bottom bracket, and even finding the cause of that elusive rattle somewhere in the frame.

Vendor Support

We offer a full product showroom, a large area covered by an awning with space for displaying product and demos, hanging banners, etc.

In addition, the large size of the truck ensures your brand name will be prominently featured and seen by all event attendees.

Private Conference Area

We maintain a private area for preferred customers and clients where you can get away, chill out and relax in a very comfortable environment.

We'll be sure to serve up all your favorite creature comforts along with plenty of good biking banter.

Bike Transport

Our Hands On Security

Your bike will never leave our possession. Period!

It will arrive along with all your gear at the race location a few days prior to race day. You will be able to pick it in close proximity to the race transition area and ride it immediately. You'll have the confidence of knowing that all the nuts and bolts are tight and that all adjustments are as sound as they were when we took it off your hands at your home.

Our Pickup and Make-ready

PRK Bikes will collect your bike, equipment and gear from you near or at your residence. Our experienced drivers carefully load and secure every bicycle onto our ultimate custom racking system in one of our trucks and drives to your race. Your bicycle is available for you to pick-up at the Event a few days before the race stored in a enclosed truck safe from the environment. No parts need to be removed before you give us your bike. Additional or extra items like pedals, behind the seat drink systems, disc wheels do not have to be removed for transport. Drink system just needs to empty.

Our Pre-race Tune-ups

We've got the most complete mobile shop, the largest toolset and the best mechanics in the business with years of specialized event-wide coverage on the pro scene. Take advantage of our convenient, competent and complete attention to your service needs and plan on scheduling a pre-race bicycle tune-up with us to ensure your bike is race-ready in the most hassle-free way. Tune-ups can be scheduled with us at the time we collect your bike or upon arrival at the event.

Our Ride Home

Once you've completed your race, you can walk your bike over to our location directly from the transition area, hand us your bike and we'll take care of it from there. You enjoy your Ironman accomplishment while we load it and have back at your home in several days time.

Our Basic Transport Package

Round-trip service for most events starts at $250. This includes 1 free piece of luggage. The gear bag is a great way to ship clothes, energy bars, drink powders, helmet, bike shoes, water bottles, wetsuit, CO2 cartridges (not permissible in airline baggage). Maximum allowable weight of gear bag is 75 lbs or so. Owner must be able to pick the bag up with one hand. Select an event from our Upcoming Events and make an Information Request based on your needs to get a firm quote.

Avoid Airline Hassles

The security issues like a bottle of lube for you chain, co2, sun tan oils, etc and if you pack right you just use carry on for the hassle free airport travel. Some of the airports that are close to these races use small aircraft, 50 seaters or smaller and have limited baggage space so that means bike cases travel last or arrive the next day.

Avoid Airline Inconvenience & Cost

Taking the airline route you’ll have to 1) dismantle your bike or pay a shop to do it; 2) squeeze it into a bike box and haul it to the airport along with all your gear; 3) hand it to airlines and hope it will make it to your destination on time and in one piece; and 4) rent a minivan or SUV instead of a car to carry it to your hotel or local shop, unpack and reassemble it or have a shop do it, and hope all bolts are properly tightened and adjustments are still intact. You then must repeat the entire process for the trip home after the race. Total cost: minimum $420, up to $500+. Wouldn't you rather just rest and focus on being ready for your event?

Meet Earle Young, Our Wheelbuilder

Earle is passionate about bicycle wheels. After 35 years as a bicycle mechanic, he limits his bike work to wheels. Each wheel is a labor of love. Earle knows many shortcuts to building wheels, and skips every one. Each step, from lubing the spoke holes in the rim to verifying the final tension of each spoke, contributes to making the whole wheel “right.” So Earle takes his time. Even if you don’t know wheels, you do know that passion, experience and time are what separates the great from the merely good enough. You deserve great wheels.
